“We are going to ROCK this surgery!”

She was ready for today! We have been preparing for this and feel very confident about what’s to come! Demi is having her left hip fixed to be a bit more stable and having the plate and screws removed from her right femur!

We have been told to expect 4 hours of waiting. Praying for Demi and everyone on her case.

Historically, post op is not fun with Demi so I’m praying that things are smoother this go round. Anesthesia feels more confident with a plan to get better results this time. I plan to get Demi to the right room following PACU and not have a repeat of the last hip! I’m on top of making sure we are placed on the most appropriate floor to meet Demi’s medical needs over the next 24 hours or so.
