Demi did so well! When they took her to the OR she never woke up from her nap. They were able to sedate her from her nap so no crying or fear for her!

The doctor was able to see what he wanted. He said that her eyes are definitely better than when we started, as far as the health of the eye. Her vision is still extremely difficult to explain or comprehend so I’ll hold off on that for now.

Her surgeon sees a place in her right eye where he believes he could help decrease the pulling on the retina. With any surgery there are risk. The risk is pretty minimal for this specific surgeon but it’s there and it’s her eye she seems to use most. We just need to decide what we want to do and when. It’s not a black and white decision, but I believe we will be able to feel confident in a decision before long.

I’m sitting in the back with her for our drive home and she seems super content! We are truly happy to be headed back home and so ready to see Beau. Thank you all for your prayers
